Group Retreats

Group Retreats to Develop Teamwork

Group retreats specifically to develop team work can be designed to tailor-fit your situation and needs towards strengthening teamwork within your staff. The teamwork group retreat will run on average from 3-hour workshops and classroom training to 16-hours of training, exercises and interactive classes.

After these activities, your organization is expected to:

1) experience a dramatic reduction in turnover of employees,
2) lessen rework and duplication of work,
3) heightened morale,
4) lessen miscommunication within and inter-office, and
5) increase profitability.

What are some of the team building exercises? These vary from break out sessions, ½ or 1 day team building workshops, games that serve as instruments to team building like Rescue Teddy Bear, Guys-n-Dolls, Beach Bonanza and many others.

Looking further at workshops and programs, brief descriptions are available:

* Build-A-Bike gets your team build bicycles for charity in a race against time. * Rescue Bear Workshop allows your team to identify hidden talents of your co-workers which you complete to build the bear for a charity.
* Creating a Team Culture trains you to create a team in a short time.
* Dealing with Personalities will explain why you get to click with some people immediately or why it is difficult to jive with others.
* The Camaraderie Quest is intended to build camaraderie while sharpening your creative thinking.
* Guys-N-Dolls makes your team match their wits with each other to race in building dolls for kids that have terminal illnesses.
* Team FUN-damentals is a workshop that shows groups how to add fun to the workplace.

These short exercises can be done as activities within a longer group retreat program.
